Editorial transparency

The sources.
The image credits.

A distinction between archive photography, illustration, family background and the factual sources behind the journal.

Existing sources, carefully separated.

The historical and gemstone material is adapted from the references in the supplied websites. This redesign does not add family achievements, countries, dates of experience, professional qualifications or commercial stock claims. Individual journal entries retain their relevant references.

Third-party image permission must be confirmed before public publication. Reusing an image from the supplied preview does not establish a new licence or permission for commercial use.

Photographic attribution.

History and archive photographs: Rolex. This independent journal is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rolex or Cartier. The Rolex photographs remain the property of their rights holders.

Characters, concepts and film.

Character artwork is the existing AI-generated illustration prepared for this project. The hosted film is the original story supplied through the earlier website. Its voice is an AI character voice, not a recording of the child. The scenes are fictional illustrations, not records of real events.

The watch design is a concept study. The faceted colour studies are illustrations from the original site, not specimen photographs. They should never be labelled as stock, authenticated gems or product renders.

Publication status.

Sources are cited beside each subject, and photographs carry their creator, source and licence where they appear. The writing is independent and educational; it is not an authentication or valuation service.

Edition 02: contact verification.

The WhatsApp and email destinations on the enquiry page were checked against Nautilus Dubai’s public website on 25 September 2026. This check does not verify gemstone services, stock, prices, image licences or the externally hosted films. Existing journal research and image-credit notes remain unchanged.

Reference library & cleared imagery

Every reference study links its own sources. Photographs in the new visual archive retain their individual attribution and license below.

Reference-library illustrations

Watch-profile photographs

These photographs illustrate the specific examples described in their captions. They do not authenticate an object, establish current specifications, imply endorsement or grant rights to brand artwork elsewhere on the site.

  1. Rolex

Rolex Submariner-Date, identified on the source page as reference 16610.

Photo: Rolex-Submariner.jpg by FrankWilliams / Wikimedia Commons. Public-domain dedication by the photographer. Original image; no local edits.

Compare the bezel scale and the date aperture as different kinds of information. This later family example does not establish specifications for the 1953 launch watch.

  2. Patek Philippe

A two-tone Patek Philippe Nautilus; the photographer identifies this example as quartz. This later variant is distinct from the original 1976 mechanical Nautilus.

Notice the continuous case-and-bracelet outline. The movement type is attributed to the photographer, rather than authenticated from this still image.

  3. Audemars Piguet

A blue-dial Audemars Piguet Royal Oak on the wrist, identified on the source page as reference 15202. This later example is distinct from the original 1972 reference 5402.

Look at the case-to-bracelet transition and the screw-set bezel. The exact reference identification follows the source description rather than independent authentication.

  4. Cartier

A Les Must de Cartier Tank photographed by Guy Sie. This family example is not a 1917 original or a Tank Louis Cartier.

Notice the vertical case sides, Roman numerals and strap continuity. Production date, exact reference and metal fineness are not established by this photograph.

  5. Omega

An Omega Speedmaster Automatic with a date window, photographed by Hobo. This image illustrates a different Speedmaster variant from the hand-wound Moonwatch discussed in the history.

Photo: OmegaSpeedMaster.JPG by Hobo (source summary; uploader account Richardmilgate) / Wikimedia Commons. Public-domain dedication by the photographer. Wikimedia Commons 960px web rendition; no local edits.

Compare the three subdials with the separate date window. The exact reference and movement calibre remain unverified; this is a variant comparison, not a NASA or Apollo illustration.

Repository licensing declarations were checked against the supplied image-rights review and the downloaded assets. No local image cropping, recoloring or retouching was performed. Repository-generated web-size versions are explicitly identified. Grand Seiko’s CMYK candidate is not embedded; a suitable color-managed asset and final layout review remain pending.

Editorial responsibility and corrections

This is an independent, family-managed learning journal. Publication decisions and corrections remain with the family; the journal does not claim professional certification, manufacturer endorsement or first-hand testing where none is documented.

Factual passages distinguish primary source accounts, observed image details and editorial interpretation. Manufacturer specifications are attributed to the maker. Museum records identify the pictured object; photographs do not authenticate a different specimen. Source notes explain their scope and unresolved questions remain visible.

Source-check dates describe the stated review, not the date of the event or a promise that a linked page will never change. To flag a factual or credit correction, prepare an enquiry for the adult-managed family team and identify the article and source.
