A personal journal, not a shop.
This is an independent, family-managed personal project. It is not an online shop, a professional qualification or a channel for directly contacting a child. There are no visitor accounts, public comments, order forms, payment requests or child-contact forms.
Local interactions.
These journal tools run in your browser. This static edition prepares enquiry drafts on your device; it does not submit them to a website inbox. You choose whether to continue in WhatsApp or your email application. Saved local items and external-service handling are described below.
External websites and the original film.
All page imagery, fonts and the brand film are served from this website. Its security policy does not load images, fonts or scripts from other hosts, and the site uses no advertising or analytics scripts.
Links to the family business, photographic archives and educational sources open external websites with their own policies. Business enquiries belong with the adult-managed family business, not with the children.
Comfort and accessibility.
Navigation, gallery controls and dialogs support keyboard operation. Use the footer’s motion control to turn decorative motion off. The website also respects the device’s reduced-motion setting. The film has separate playback controls, and the original English captions are retained.
What is deliberately not published.
No school, private address, daily schedule, direct child contact details or child account system is included. The public design uses the existing illustrated characters rather than the supplied photographic portraits. Any future personal updates or public submissions should be reviewed by a parent.
Before publication.
The hosting server keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, time and page requested, for security and operation. The public site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and builds no visitor profiles.
Your reading place.
“Keep my place” explicitly saves one article and section for this website in this browser. Saving a new place replaces the previous one. The bookmark contains no free text, name, contact information or reading history. It is not encrypted or protected by an account, and another person using the same browser may see it.
Use “Clear reading place” on the homepage or in the reading companion to remove it. Selections, the viewing-room notes and the notebook are separate and are not cleared by this action. Reading places are never added to enquiry drafts. In a restricted single-file preview, a saved place may last only while that preview stays open.
Section highlighting and the comfortable-text control operate in the open page. They do not transmit reading activity or automatically save progress.
Your Folio & portable copies.
Your Folio reads only this website’s existing saved selections, reading place, viewing-room notes and, where available, observation notebook or concept palette. It does not create an account, automatically save work or add a new storage key. Notes are hidden behind a disclosure on the overview, not encrypted.
Backups contain only the categories you select and review. Written notes are excluded by default. The downloaded JSON file is plain text: anyone with access to that file can read its included notes. Images, film files, motion preferences, unsaved edits and temporary enquiry transfers are not exported. Importing a file does not give permission to include notes in an enquiry.
File validation, the preview and the import all run in this browser. The file is not uploaded. A reviewed import can fill gaps without replacing existing work, or replace only the categories you explicitly select. Only this website’s file format, reference IDs and reading locations are accepted. A file for the other website is rejected. Import is manual, not cloud synchronisation.
Removing a category from the Folio removes this website’s saved browser copy only. Clearing room notes also removes its pending temporary room-note transfer in this tab. Copies already downloaded, open in other tabs or shared elsewhere cannot be recalled. Unsaved fields in another open tab may remain visible; close that tab without saving to discard those separate edits.
Restricted storage can keep work only in the open preview. Keep a downloaded copy before closing. Review and test a file on the destination website before deleting the original saved copy.
